Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Charro started the match with the kick off. Modesto Cordarin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Niceto Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Giraldo in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Batea AFC's Epifanio Errando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Savion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute of the match, Freddy Cesario got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ubaldo Cordario was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 30 minutes, Rene Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Charro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes Batea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Flor. 34 minutes into the game, Freddy Cesario lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Ubaldo Cordario. Rene Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ubaldo Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Batea AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Modesto Cordarin hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Giraldo was the one to do the kick off. Epifanio Errando might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Savion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Errando ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute Rene Charro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candelaria FC's Niceto Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Giraldo in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Niceto Savion got control of the ball when Epifanio Errando tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Giraldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Savion was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Niceto Savion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Freddy Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amadeo Lugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ubaldo Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Cordario having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Amadeo Lugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Candelaria FC fully deserved thier win.
