Christian Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Julian Abarca made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Diablos Rojos FC's 梅剑谦 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julian Abarca. Julian Abarca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablos Rojos FC's goalkeeper Luis Palos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Bueno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Julian Abarca 13 minutes into the match. Christian Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Bueno got free with Julian Abarca in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Diablos Rojos FC booed when Vértiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Mikelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Christian Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Diablos Rojos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Bueno couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, Vértiz's Elias Normando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Palos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 36th minute of the match, 梅剑谦 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julian Abarca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Christian Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Abarca having to interfere. In the 44th minute 梅剑谦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Erruki to make the kick off. With a little luck, Diablos Rojos FC's Luis Palos got control of the ball when Elias Normando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Bueno in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Vértiz's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Bueno came free, but Julian Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 梅剑谦 in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Abarca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Diablos Rojos FC were the better team. Diablos Rojos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
