Rolando Saturnin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Gai's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Morillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Gai came free, but Rolando Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Reno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Iraitz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Salsedo defense, Francisco Iraitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Reno. The Salsedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Reno should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Jacobo Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Arotza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Severiano Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match Fernan Fagildo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Reno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rolando Saturnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Morillo FC's David Arotza made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Reno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Iraitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Severiano Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Saturnin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruben Dolfo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 32 minute of play. In the 39th minute, Dante Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Reno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Arotza in the 41st minute of play. David Arotza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Severiano Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sergio Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Saturnin having to interfere. Moises Mannuel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Saturnin. Morillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Salsedo's goal looked a bit too open when David Arotza came free, but Severiano Reno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Morillo FC booed when Salsedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Gai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rolando Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Txurio in the 85th minute of play forced Salsedo's goalkeeper Severiano Reno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Fernendo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Salsedo got a corner. Morillo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Rolado ran over to the corner to take the kick. Raul Rolado made a great header on Salsedo's corner, it was just that Morillo FC's Rolando Saturnin managed to reach the ball for a save. The Morillo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Morillo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
