The audience was convinced that Joel Sugar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Sandaili was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. If Joel Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Cloyo struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Luciano Fliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uguay. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Peio in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Sandaili saved Uguay from getting behind. When Aurelio Gonsalvo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uguay's protests and gave Aurelio Gonsalvo a yellow card for diving instead. 18 minutes into the match, Joel Sugar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Uguay's Narciso Sandaili. Narciso Sandaili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narciso Sandaili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Sugar in the 23rd minute of the match. Gualterio Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sanagasta AFC's Gualterio Peio in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Peio couldn't finish the play. If Joel Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanagasta AFC's Joel Sugar got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Sandaili came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanagasta AFC's Gualterio Peio. But to his dismay, Gualterio Peio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Sugar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Cloyo scored 1-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Fliz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Gualterio Peio could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Narciso Sandaili however easily saved by the left post. In the 65th match minute, Uguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Ursino to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Narciso Sandaili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, Sanagasta AFC's Joel Sugar made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Sandaili was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Sugar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Sandaili having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Joel Sugar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanagasta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Sugar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sanagasta AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
