After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Clodoveo Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garín FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Cisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, Cristo Etor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Vargas. Golondrina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristo Etor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Golondrina FC booed when Garín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Cisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes Ermegildo Colas shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Garín FC's Santos Lazcano to catch but Ermegildo Colas was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 14th minute, Garín FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gogo Elorri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 14thth minute of the game Gogo Elorri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garín FC's Santos Lazcano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Golondrina FC's German Udalaitz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Arnaldo Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Froylan's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Basilio Dalmai might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Lazcano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Dalmai ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Lazcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Dalmai in the 25th minute of the match. Santos Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Dalmai in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Garín FC booed when Golondrina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Barto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Froylan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Vargas was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Cristo Etor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garín FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golondrina FC the free kick.

A collision led to Golondrina FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Baldomero Eutor hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Robustiano Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Lazcano having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Gogo Elorri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golondrina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garín FC the free kick. In the 66th minute, Gogo Elorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Vargas made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cristo Etor sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Golondrina FC's zone, Robustiano Froylan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Vargas came out of the goal and Robustiano Froylan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Cristo Etor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After a rather tough play, Garín FC's Clodoveo Cisco got a free kick in the 79th minute. Gogo Elorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Garín FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Amador Ariando hit a great ball. After 82nd play minutes Gogo Elorri shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Santos Lazcano and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Elorri in the 89th minute of play forced Garín FC's goalkeeper Santos Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Basilio Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Dalmai couldn't finish the play. Gogo Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Santos Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Garín FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
