In the 7th minute Reynaldo Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Esdras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bernardino Camerino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Suarez's late challenge caught a IGNOMA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Jeremias Esdras came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Wachipatos de Mataderos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Esdras couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in IGNOMA FC's zone, Jeremias Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Camerino having to interfere. Abel Iaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Jeremias Esdras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Camerino. IGNOMA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Esdras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Aristides Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Firmo in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, IGNOMA FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Camerino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Iaki. In the 57th minute, Abel Iaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to IGNOMA FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Genaro Cordarryl hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, IGNOMA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of IGNOMA FC booed when Wachipatos de Mataderos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wachipatos de Mataderos's Aristides Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Thomas in the 85th minute of play. Ismael Gartzea was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ismael Gartzea hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Reynaldo Thomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Loren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Abel Iaki fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wachipatos de Mataderos's protests and gave Abel Iaki a yellow card for diving instead. If Rene Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
