In the 3rd minute Reynaldo Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Armando Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in IGNOMA FC's zone, Reynaldo Cheche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Camerino came out of the goal and Reynaldo Cheche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Reynaldo Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Camerino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reynaldo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, IGNOMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Errolan came free, but Bernardino Camerino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tiburcio Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Thomas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Antonio Chabier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IGNOMA FC the free kick. A collision led to Andino getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Antonio Chabier hit a great ball. Armando Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andino's Tiburcio Nel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Andino from getting a goal against them. Reynaldo Thomas might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Nel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Thomas ran back to his position shaking his head. Andino's Tiburcio Nel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Andino from getting a goal against them. Bernardino Camerino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Errolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Andino defense, Reynaldo Thomas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Nel. The Andino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Nel should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tiburcio Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Armando Firmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IGNOMA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Firmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Reynaldo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Armando Firmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiburcio Nel. Andino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Firmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Fulgencio Errolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bernardino Camerino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. IGNOMA FC had played much better football throughout.
