Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baldomiro Cibran kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Santo in the 3rd minute of play forced SportingLanus's goalkeeper Gervásio Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Nunez Cordarius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SportingLanus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrio Ruta del Sol the free kick. The supporters of Barrio Ruta del Sol booed when SportingLanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Cordarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes, Dionisio Santo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrio Ruta del Sol and the SportingLanus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Barrio Ruta del Sol got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Santo. Mario Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Cibran in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of SportingLanus booed when Barrio Ruta del Sol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Nunez Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. SportingLanus's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Cordarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Evangelista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the game, SportingLanus's Baldomiro Cibran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Evangelista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Zeledon Luzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mario Evangelista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervásio Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match, Lucas Abeijon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mario Evangelista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Dionisio Santo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervásio Lage was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Tomás Enol made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eduardo Ponciano however managed to control. Dionisio Santo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Gervásio Lage didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrio Ruta del Sol. Mario Evangelista made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Lucas Abeijon sent off a good shot on target. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Santo made a kick off. Mario Evangelista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Guillelme in the 55th minute of play. Mario Evangelista came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by SportingLanus's Baldomiro Cibran. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Cibran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Lucas Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ubaldo Pirmin fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SportingLanus's protests and gave Ubaldo Pirmin a yellow card for diving instead. Gervásio Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Ponciano got free with Gervásio Lage in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st match minute, Barrio Ruta del Sol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Cugat to maneuver through the defense. Mario Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Guillelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 76th play minutes Dionisio Santo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Gervásio Lage and just under the crossbar into goal. Baldomiro Cibran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Evangelista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Cibran's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Lisandro Ponciano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Dominic in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervásio Lage saved SportingLanus from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Sergio Dominic in the 91st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Ponciano during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Ponciano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
