The Deportivo Iguazu fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Deportivo Iguazu's Dalmacio Ponc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 11 played minutes, Arteaga FC's Hugo Mendiko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yngve Ödman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arteaga FC reached it. The supporters of Arteaga FC booed when Deportivo Iguazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Martxelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 宋岩国 in the 17th minute of play. Vicente Martxelin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Ponc in the 21st minute. Vicente Martxelin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Vicente Martxelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 宋岩国, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Arteaga FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dalmacio Ponc fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Arteaga FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Patricio Harkaitz hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Arteaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Mendiko. Arteaga FC's Vicente Martxelin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Arteaga FC from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Ciceron was the one to do the kick off. Yngve Ödman was a little too slow when Diego Frans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 3-1. Deportivo Iguazu's Yngve Ödman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ciceron in the 81st minute of play. 宋岩国 succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. Yngve Ödman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Ciceron in the 88th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Iguazu fully deserved thier win.
