The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Saverio Mendebal put in a rough tackle. After 3 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Mendebal. After a rather tough play, Membrillar's Efrain Dabi got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Patricio Omero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Membrillar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Efrain Dabi's late challenge caught a AFC Richmond's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Dabi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Membrillar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Dabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Romeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Adam Regecký made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Membrillar's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Romeo came free, but Adam Regecký reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Bernardo Romeo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam Regecký. Bernardo Romeo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Omero in the 27th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Vinicio Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Benito Nataniel sped through Membrillar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam Regecký. 31 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Omero came free, but Vinicio Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Regecký having to interfere. In the 38th minute Diamantino Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes, Patricio Omero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Membrillar and the AFC Richmond players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 许迅昂 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 74th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Amaya to maneuver through the defense. Adam Regecký showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Nataniel in the 77th minute of the match. The AFC Richmond fans cheered their team off the field, for while Membrillar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
