Victoriano Gilabert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Matia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Aquilino Roldan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex Qvarnström. Aquilino Roldan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Patricio Cucao kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Maximo Matia came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by MC5's Victoriano Gilabert. But to his dismay, Victoriano Gilabert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Maximo Matia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victoriano Gilabert went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Victoriano Gilabert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Matia. Club Atlético Charly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Gilabert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Gilabert was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Illan in the 54th minute of play forced Club Atlético Charly's goalkeeper Maximo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Emiliano Illan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MC5 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Club Atlético Charly's Maximo Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 명 in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, MC5's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Roldan came free, but Alex Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Gilabert got free with Maximo Matia in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MC5's Ladislao Gabon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maximo Matia but with some difficulty. Maximo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Illan in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of MC5 booed when Club Atlético Charly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MC5's Luisito Sauveur got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Charly's Baltasar Ospetsu got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes MC5 got a freekick which was hit by Benito Gutxi. Samuel Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Charly's Maximo Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Charly from getting a goal against them. Victoriano Gilabert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Maximo Matia made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, MC5's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Roldan came free, but Alex Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
