An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Francis in the 13th minute of play forced Papagayos AFC's goalkeeper Santiago Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Franko Armani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Medanitos getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Americo Abel hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Gumaro in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franko Armani saved Medanitos from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, Medanitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Escobar to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Papagayos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Francis came free, but Santiago Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Lucado got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Medanitos booed when Papagayos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Daunte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Francis's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Albano Lleir fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Franko Armani, passed just outside the right post. Medanitos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgard Francis in the 39th minute. After taking down the ball on Medanitos's corner Edgard Francis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santiago Daunte quite easily take care of the ball. Santiago Daunte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Medanitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Ignado to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Gumaro made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgard Francis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santiago Daunte. That made the score 0-1 in the 52 minute of play. Edgard Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61stth minute of the game Edgard Francis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papagayos AFC's Santiago Daunte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Edgard Francis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Medanitos booed when Papagayos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Papagayos AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Placido Gipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Daunte having to interfere. If Placido Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Americo Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medanitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Abel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Daunte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Papagayos AFC booed when Medanitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Ieltxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Medanitos's Edgard Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Lino Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Medanitos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
