Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fidel Botello started the match with the kick off. Fidel Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BG. Estanislao López's Ciro Jenaro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mataderos FC booed when BG. Estanislao López was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Pabla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Ganix having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Monachella during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BG. Estanislao López getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Uriel Monachella hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's Benicio Gerazan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fidel Botello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Faustino Rufio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ciro Jenaro came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the BG. Estanislao López fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Jenaro couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, BG. Estanislao López's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Duarte came free, but Placido Ganix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Placido Ganix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Dantel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Botello came free, but Faustino Rufio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, one of Mataderos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mataderos FC. After 61 minutes, Carlos Socorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BG. Estanislao López and the Mataderos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes BG. Estanislao López got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Socorro. Marcos Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Severino Emenon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mataderos FC and the BG. Estanislao López players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Severino Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, BG. Estanislao López's Constantino Errolan tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. BG. Estanislao López's Ciro Jenaro got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leo Dorio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BG. Estanislao López's protests and gave Leo Dorio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, BG. Estanislao López was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Dorio to maneuver through the defense. Placido Ganix came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Mataderos FC's Marcos Dantel. But to his dismay, Marcos Dantel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Placido Ganix was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Dantel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 88 minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, BG. Estanislao López's Ciro Jenaro tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Ciro Jenaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
