Mataderos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Argenis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of TAYSA FC booed when Mataderos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeronimo Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Pelayo was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Marcos Dantel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Dantel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. When Severino Emenon fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mataderos FC's protests and gave Severino Emenon a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Petri kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Faustino Rufio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Arlo in the 43rd minute of the match. Esteban Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Marcos Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mataderos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Dantel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Poncio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, one of TAYSA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TAYSA FC. Cristobal Pelayo had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Benicio Gerazan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Aureliano Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Pelayo having to interfere. TAYSA FC's Candido Argenis got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeronimo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Candido Argenis came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the TAYSA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Argenis couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Arlo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. TAYSA FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mataderos FC's Faustino Rufio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Mataderos FC from getting a goal against them. Severino Emenon hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mataderos FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Benicio Gerazan hit a great ball. Silvio Serapio missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Faustino Rufio right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Paolo Euloxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAYSA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Euloxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Rufio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TAYSA FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
