When Uno al Hilo's Marcelo Onofre in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in CACHIVA FC's zone, Marcelo Onofre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Clemencin came out of the goal and Marcelo Onofre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Julio Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the CACHIVA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Vargas couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Onofre to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Vargas in the 52nd minute of play forced Uno al Hilo's goalkeeper Flávio Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flávio Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute CACHIVA FC were awarded a corner. Ildefonso Karmel went to the cornerflag to take it. 59 minutes in the game Justino Maura did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Melchor Domiku. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Julio Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. CACHIVA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flávio Toldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes, Julian Arotza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uno al Hilo and the CACHIVA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Uno al Hilo getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Julian Arotza hit a great ball. Prospero Odol's late challenge caught a Uno al Hilo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Odol helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes CACHIVA FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Odol. Marcelo Onofre struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Vinicio Clemencin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uno al Hilo. 81 minutes into the match, Uno al Hilo's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Vargas came free, but Flávio Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
