Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Txeru started the match with the kick off. Severo Cebo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Cebo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rio de La Plata FC booed when Lipeo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Lipeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Txeru to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Lipeo's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Canor came free, but Zeledon Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Figueroa having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Maximiliano Canor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zeledon Figueroa. The goal made the score 1-0. Zeledon Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Canor in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Rio de La Plata FC's Maximiliano Canor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeledon Figueroa. Zeledon Figueroa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When Geronimo Dimas fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio de La Plata FC's protests and gave Geronimo Dimas a yellow card for diving instead. Ildefonso Inguma kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Rio de La Plata FC's Maximiliano Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Goito in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Benjamin Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio de La Plata FC's Leopoldo Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Txeru in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Lipeo got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Txeru. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Canor was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Lipeo's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Canor came free, but Zeledon Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Frumuzache in the 55th minute of play forced Lipeo's goalkeeper Zeledon Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Txeru hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Lipeo defense, Valeriu Frumuzache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Figueroa. The Lipeo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Figueroa should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Rio de La Plata FC's zone, Benjamin Txeru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Cordario came out of the goal and Benjamin Txeru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rio de La Plata FC made a substitution. Vicente Ubarna replaced Valeriu Frumuzache. Rio de La Plata FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Eustaquio Goito scored to the left of an out of position Leopoldo Cordario, making the score, 5-1. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Canor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Figueroa was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Rio de La Plata FC's Leopoldo Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Txeru in the 87th minute of play. Zeledon Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Canor in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Silvestre Caetano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Figueroa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 93 minutes into the match, Vicente Ubarna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Figueroa. Lipeo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Ubarna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Zeledon Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Canor in the 96th minute of the match.
