When Erasmo Mino fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Bulls FC's protests and gave Erasmo Mino a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Black Bulls FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Mino. Epifanio Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Matteo having to interfere. If Gilberto Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
