After having played for 3 minutes, Tom Aesma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Katthus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Aesma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th match minute, Palmitas Alem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Karmel to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Eliseo Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nana Liders in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Katthus getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tom Aesma hit a great ball. Dominique Striednig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Karmel in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Palmitas Alem's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Mundo came free, but Eliseo Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionuț Ioviță hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Esbjörn Bengtsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominique Striednig showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nana Liders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eliseo Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Braulio Gaskon made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Pepillo. Palmitas Alem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Katthus's Dominique Striednig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Dudek in the 37th minute of play. Amadeo Mundo scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Pepillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nana Liders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Pepillo having to interfere. Braulio Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Mundo to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Palmitas Alem got a freekick which was hit by Blas Haritzeder. After recieving a nice pass, Katthus's Braulio Gaskon tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Samuel Tiso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Braulio Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nana Liders could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Eliseo Pepillo made a huge save. Dominique Striednig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Karmel in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Palmitas Alem's Eliseo Pepillo got control of the ball when Nana Liders tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Katthus's Amadeo Mundo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseo Pepillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliseo Pepillo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Katthus's Nana Liders. But to his dismay, Nana Liders quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Thanks to some nice moves Nana Liders could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Eliseo Pepillo however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Palmitas Alem getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Esbjörn Bengtsson hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Katthus's Braulio Gaskon tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Eliseo Pepillo managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Katthus's Amadeo Mundo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Amadeo Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katthus's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Mundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Pepillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Katthus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nana Liders to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nana Liders in the 92nd minute of play. Nana Liders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eliseo Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Katthus's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
