Eliseo Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Txatxu in the 9th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, River SG's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Dudek came free, but Justino Jaunzuria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes River SG got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Ixona. Palmitas Alem's Eliseo Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Txatxu in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, River SG's Natalio Ixona got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Justino Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Karmel in the 28th minute of play. Justino Jaunzuria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Dudek, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Nereo Karmel made a precise shot to the right of Justino Jaunzuria. River SG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 85th minute, Samuel Tiso had to leave the field with a concussion. When Santos Pirmin fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River SG's protests and gave Santos Pirmin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, River SG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Dorio to maneuver through the defense. Palmitas Alem played a much better game than River SG and deserved their victory. The River SG players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
