After 24 minutes of play, River Plate's Victor Senio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimeno Hats was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Victor Senio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, River Plate's Laureano Florian got control of the ball when Federico Chap tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Hats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Avellaneda in the 42nd minute of the match. Dario Evangelista kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, River Plate's Laureano Florian got control of the ball when Federico Chap tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Fernan Avellaneda made the kick off in the second half. Cristobal Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Luciano Bihar charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 60th minute, Oleg Grigoriev made a precise shot to the right of Laureano Florian. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 64th minute, Emilio Meder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Florian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 71 minutes into the game, Dario Evangelista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Laureano Florian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the match, Jumeal AFC's goalkeeper Jimeno Hats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Senio. Jimeno Hats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Silban. After 81 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Orain. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gogo Chap hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Avellaneda in the 87th minute of play forced Jumeal AFC's goalkeeper Jimeno Hats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Victorio Orain a yellow card for diving instead. Federico Chap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Florian having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Socorro during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jumeal AFC booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Socorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Chap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
