The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, El principito FC's Julian Ruisko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Florian was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Angel Miro hit a great ball. Moises Raphael scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laureano Florian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Julian Ruisko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Florian was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Simon Jurdan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Aureliano Uzuri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elvio Herrera. El principito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Froilan Loco kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, El principito FC's Elvio Herrera got control of the ball when Victorio Orain tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of El principito FC booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Avellaneda in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, El principito FC's goalkeeper Elvio Herrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Orain. Elvio Herrera was a little too slow when Victor Senio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Froilan Loco charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Loco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 37 minutes, Fernan Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Avellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of River Plate booed when El principito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Senio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Elvio Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvio Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half El principito FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernan Avellaneda was the one to do the kick off. Julian Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Laureano Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvio Herrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidio Silban went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper Laureano Florian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elvio Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Silban in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Moises Raphael fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. El principito FC's Elvio Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Avellaneda in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Ruisko got free with Laureano Florian in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Ruisko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Laureano Florian made a huge save. El principito FC's Elvio Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Senio in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El principito FC's zone, Victor Senio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Herrera came out of the goal and Victor Senio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fernan Avellaneda got free in front of the goal in the 87th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Elvio Herrera was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 89 minutes of play, River Plate's Fernan Avellaneda made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Herrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The El principito FC fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when El principito FC's Julian Ruisko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
