Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cleto Firman started the match with the kick off. Toralf Pätzold lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 6th minute, one of København:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for København. Denis Herrera had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Aureliano Uzuri's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Ovidio Silban notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of København's Denis Herrera. Denis Herrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laureano Florian was a little too slow when Cleto Firman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. Cleto Firman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, København's Ruperto Mendebal got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute Victor Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Victorio Orain managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Orain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 played minutes København got a freekick which was hit by Vali Arnăutu. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Cleto Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot. København's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Firman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Florian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Orain hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Cleto Firman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Florian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernan Avellaneda to make the kick off. Cleto Firman took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Florian. Laureano Florian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Firman in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Florian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Firman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Laureano Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cleto Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. River Plate's Laureano Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Firman in the 82nd minute of play. After 85 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Orain. Cleto Firman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Firman in the 89th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Laureano Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The København fans cheered their team off the field, for while River Plate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
