During the 12th minute of the match Adolfo Rhodes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adolfo Rhodes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Nemesio Gergori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Castroviejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Donato Seber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbrancables F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Descolocados de tandil the free kick. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Descolocados de tandil reached it. Arnoldo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Rolado having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Castroviejo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Seber got free with Nemesio Gergori in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Descolocados de tandil's Nemesio Gergori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Salomon in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Imbrancables F.C.'s Jonas Gonzales got a free kick in the 58th minute. Nemesio Gergori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Seber in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Renato Castroviejo took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Nemesio Gergori to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Jonas Gonzales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Gergori was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Nicolas Van Den Hout hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Imbrancables F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
