Gualterio Ciano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to El Rayo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Erasmo Martxot hit a great ball. Eloy Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Iyan in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Francisco Gomesano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN TELMO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Rayo the free kick. After 21 played minutes SAN TELMO FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gomesano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Valentine in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Mikelats saved SAN TELMO FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Florentino Orlandus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Chepe was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Florentino Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Israel Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN TELMO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Silbestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, El Rayo's Lucio Valentine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laureano Mikelats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Israel Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN TELMO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Silbestre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Chepe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Laureano Mikelats made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lucio Valentine sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Iyan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Rayo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
