Marcelino Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Silbestre in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Fidel Iyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN TELMO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Sagrario during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricios's Marcelino Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Orlandus in the 16th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Sebastian Patxi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN TELMO FC and the Patricios players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Patricios booed when SAN TELMO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Orlandus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Miguel Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Peter hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcelino Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Iyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Silbestre in the 40th minute of play. Siro Inko's late challenge caught a SAN TELMO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Inko helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Patricios's Siro Inko got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Cesar Nayely was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patricios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN TELMO FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Orlandus in the 45th minute of play forced Patricios's goalkeeper Marcelino Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Paulin to make the kick off. If Lorenzo Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Orlandus in the 63rd minute of the match. Patricios's Marcelino Oinatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Patricios from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Florentino Orlandus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Paulin in the 71st minute of play forced SAN TELMO FC's goalkeeper Laureano Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Miguel Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Truylos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Truylos in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Mikelats saved SAN TELMO FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Patricios's Marcelino Oinatz got control of the ball when Israel Silbestre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laureano Mikelats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Paulin in the 88th minute of the match. Francisco Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Paulin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SAN TELMO FC's Laureano Mikelats. Laureano Mikelats was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
