Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lorenzo Paulin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. El Rayo's Emanuel Martxel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eusebio Neto in the 5 minute of the game. After 8 minutes of play, El Rayo's Saul Garikoitz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Oinatz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Gregorio Peter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When El Rayo's Lucio Valentine in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patricios's goalie prevented a goal. Patricios's Gregorio Peter shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eloy Chepe but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Patricios's zone, Lucio Valentine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Oinatz came out of the goal and Lucio Valentine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Saul Garikoitz came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the El Rayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Garikoitz couldn't finish the play. Lucio Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saul Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Bernardo Sagrario's shot from long distance in the 30th minute was not bad at all, but El Rayo's Eloy Chepe knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 39 minutes, Saul Garikoitz made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Patricios's Marcelino Oinatz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Patricios getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Roque Santo hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Valentine made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Patricios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Sagrario to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Rayo's goalkeeper Eloy Chepe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When El Rayo's Lucio Valentine in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patricios's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th match minute, Patricios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Peter to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Adrian Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Rayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, El Rayo's Guaberto Gizon got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the El Rayo defense, Lorenzo Paulin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Chepe. The El Rayo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Chepe should have stopped the shot. Saul Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Marcelino Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Siro Inko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patricios and the El Rayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Patricios got a freekick which was hit by Siro Inko. A collision led to El Rayo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Saul Garikoitz hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Lorenzo Paulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Chepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Rayo's Gualterio Ciano got a free kick in the 89th minute. Saul Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucio Valentine kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelino Oinatz. That made the score 1-6 in the 96 minute of play.
