Esteban Iratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Botello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ismael Poncio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esteban Iratze made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Melquiades Estebe sent off a good shot on target. After 13 minutes, Delmar Abar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aserradero FC and the Oniros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aserradero FC's Delmar Abar got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Fulgencio Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Abar in the 29th minute of play forced Oniros FC's goalkeeper Esteban Iratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Iratze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Estebe in the 30th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Delmar Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aserradero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Abar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casemiro Joinvilense during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Casemiro Joinvilense kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Delmiro Valiente struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ismael Poncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oniros FC. In the 45th match minute, Aserradero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Abar to maneuver through the defense. The Aserradero FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oniros FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmar Abar to strike the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Estebe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Iratze having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Abar in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Iratze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Marquez in the 62nd minute of play forced Aserradero FC's goalkeeper Ismael Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Aserradero FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Abar. Oniros FC's Israel Cristofol was substituted for Gonzalo Loreto. After a rather tough play, Aserradero FC's Delmar Abar got a free kick in the 68th minute. Aserradero FC's Ismael Poncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Aserradero FC from getting a goal against them. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casemiro Joinvilense kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Melquiades Estebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Iratze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Abar in the 89th minute of the match. Oniros FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
