Manada Juniors's Isaac Hustaz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Manada Juniors's Leonardo Gaztea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ieltxu Casero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Feliciano Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manada Juniors's goalkeeper Joaquin Hibai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Americo Herena fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manada Juniors's protests and gave Americo Herena a yellow card for diving instead. Americo Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Manada Juniors's Americo Herena got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Americo Herena off the ground. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Ponce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Gaztea during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 81 minutes, Haroldo Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iguassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ieltxu Casero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Erramu in the 85th minute of the match. Manada Juniors's Joaquin Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Ponce in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Grabiel during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquin Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manada Juniors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Iguassu.
