The goal made the score 1-0. Christian Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Tapalquén AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hechter Lastras came free, but Martin Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Moise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Hechter Lastras took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Martin Tancredo to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd minute of the match, Matias Bernard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Tancredo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hugo Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Tapalquén AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Moise came free, but Martin Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Los Pibes del Congreso got a corner. Tapalquén AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matias Bernard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Martin Tancredo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cayetano Moise sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Cayetano Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Martin Tancredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Bernard was the one to do the kick off. Hechter Lastras kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Matias Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bernard in the 75th minute of play forced Tapalquén AFC's goalkeeper Martin Tancredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Los Pibes del Congreso got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Mateus. In the 83rd minute, Tapalquén AFC's Prospero Jusepe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Prospero Jusepe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tapalquén AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Prospero Jusepe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 82 minutes into the game, one of Tapalquén AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Los Pibes del Congreso a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matias Bernard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tapalquén AFC's Martin Tancredo. 4-0. Tapalquén AFC's Gervasio Hulberto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wally Ananasov in the 88 minute of the game. Hugo Soin hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Martin Tancredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Moise in the 97th minute of the match.
