Guilherme Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tiburcio Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in dep.Italiano's zone, Elvio Unax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Sandberg came out of the goal and Elvio Unax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute of the match, Godofredo Brun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stig Sandberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 27th minute Muñoz FC were awarded a corner. Pedro Heriberto went to the cornerflag to take it. dep.Italiano's Stig Sandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save dep.Italiano from getting a goal against them. dep.Italiano's Stig Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Etxatxu in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 played minutes dep.Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Mikeldi. After 37 played minutes Muñoz FC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Brun. After 39 minutes of play, dep.Italiano's Denis Vizitiu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Eron was left in no man's land by his defense there! Godofredo Brun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig Sandberg having to make a save. A collision led to Muñoz FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Benedicto Librado hit a great ball. The supporters of Muñoz FC booed when dep.Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, Muñoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Unax to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilherme Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Pedro Heriberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Vizitiu came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. Muñoz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave dep.Italiano the free kick. In the 65th minute, Celestino Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Vizitiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Eron having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 76th minute when Guilherme Mota elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Muñoz FC's Tiburcio Eron got control of the ball when Denis Vizitiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Etxatxu during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiburcio Eron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Mota's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. dep.Italiano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
