Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Blas Beat made the kick off and thus started the match. ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s Isidoro Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Miro in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Clemente Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Raulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristobal Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s Hugo Argoitz threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benito Urtats, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 14 minutes, Eleuterio Maria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nueva Luna and the ◀ Red Rooster ▶ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nueva Luna's Eleuterio Maria got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Gavino Miro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Kiliz. ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Miro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristobal Nazario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Hugo Argoitz made a huge save. Hugo Argoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Eskuin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Blas Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gavino Miro fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nueva Luna's protests and gave Gavino Miro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Gavino Miro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gavino Miro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Luna's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Miro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Kiliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The wind increased when Cristobal Nazario made the kick off in the second half. Benito Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hugo Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Anselmo Suero put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Nueva Luna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ◀ Red Rooster ▶:s goal. In the 86th minute, Nueva Luna's Eleuterio Maria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Eloy Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Isidoro Kiliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Blas Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Damian Dubardo in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nueva Luna's Rosendo Harriet. Nueva Luna were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s much stronger midfield.
