Isidoro Kiliz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Cortez went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Jesus Eskuin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Gaskon's late challenge caught a Esquel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esquel's Zacarias Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Nazario in the 39th minute of play. Hector Cortez hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jesus Eskuin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Zacarias Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Theodore in the 44th minute of the match. Isidoro Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Theodore, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
