The referee showed Uriel Odon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Åke Asplund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Odon went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Arnaldo Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Santo Guillelme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Guifre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Reynaldo Guifre didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. The supporters of Catamarca FC booed when Andalgalá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Venerando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Dolfo to make the kick off. The Catamarca FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Catamarca FC's Jörgen Lövskog looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Guillelme in the 92nd minute of play forced Andalgalá's goalkeeper Reynaldo Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Abalos during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnaldo Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jörgen Lövskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Guifre having to interfere. There was no doubt that Catamarca FC were the better team. Catamarca FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
