In the 4thth minute of the game Nuno Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linces's Filiberto Mikolas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes Linces got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Fortun. In the 18th minute, Angelo Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Tandil FC's Cosme Casomiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cosme Casomiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tandil FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cosme Casomiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in Tandil FC's zone, Nicanor Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Irrintzi came out of the goal and Nicanor Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Filiberto Mikolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Pedro Fortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Schmidt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Filiberto Mikolas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedro Fortun charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Fortun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Linces was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Fortun to maneuver through the defense. Tandil FC's Nuno Schmidt pulled a muscle in his back after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tandil FC made a substitution. Omar Nataniel replaced Nuno Schmidt. A collision led to Linces getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Lorenzo Argi hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Nataniel to make the kick off. Linces's Pedro Fortun got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Pedro Fortun off the ground. Pedro Fortun hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Apolo Baumer fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tandil FC's protests and gave Apolo Baumer a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tandil FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Nicanor Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linces's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Evangelista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Irrintzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tandil FC's Benicio Eguntsenti was substituted for Americo Tonio. Omar Irrintzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Mitxaut in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, Tandil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Opilano to maneuver through the defense. The Tandil FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Linces were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
