Astor Goyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Lauaxeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Goyo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute of the match Gualterio Sazon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melquiades Lauaxeta skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Astor Goyo took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Melquiades Lauaxeta to make any attempt to save it. 73 minutes into the game, Leo Ladio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santamarina F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL BAR DE MOE!! the free kick. Melquiades Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Goyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Lauaxeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Goyo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Santamarina F.C's Melquiades Lauaxeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Santamarina F.C from getting a goal against them. EL BAR DE MOE!!'s Astor Goyo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. EL BAR DE MOE!!'s Rafael Tercero suffered a concussion in the 93rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Higinio Mateo charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 97th minute of the match, Astor Goyo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Lauaxeta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The EL BAR DE MOE!! players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
