The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to C.A River Plate getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. One of C.A River Plate:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NapoleonMG:s goal. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, NapoleonMG's Lucio Fagondo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arnaldo Mikolas. Marcos Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Mikolas was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Marcos Isias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Isias really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Julian Mero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NapoleonMG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A River Plate the free kick. After 17 played minutes NapoleonMG got a freekick which was hit by Julian Mero. Jonathan Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Theobald got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Baldomero Theobald hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Marcos Isias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnaldo Mikolas, 3-0. In the 26th minute, C.A River Plate's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Israel Caton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marcos Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Mikolas having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A River Plate's goalkeeper Arnaldo Mikolas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Israel Caton managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Isias in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Mikolas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Venancio Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Lucio Fagondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NapoleonMG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Fagondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Isias to make the kick off. C.A River Plate's Arnaldo Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Isias in the 52nd minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Marcos Isias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Romildo during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hector Romildo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eduardo Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Qwinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Fafinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 93 minutes, Marcos Isias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NapoleonMG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Isias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 95 minutes of play, NapoleonMG's Marcos Isias made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Mikolas was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the NapoleonMG players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
