Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Froilan Adrio started the match with the kick off. With his leg Leonel Iago managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when C.A River Plate's Ruben Ederono fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Ederono in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Iago saved Los Santos de Nuñez from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, C.A River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Cayo came free, but Arnaldo Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Qwinton during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Qwinton hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Astor Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Los Santos de Nuñez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Jobo to maneuver through the defense. Los Santos de Nuñez's Leonel Iago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Los Santos de Nuñez from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Froilan Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Mikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Los Santos de Nuñez's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Ederono came free, but Leonel Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Froilan Adrio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A River Plate's Arnaldo Mikolas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to C.A River Plate getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Astor Tonio hit a great ball. If Ivan Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Ruben Ederono fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arnaldo Mikolas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Adrio went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the game, Froilan Adrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Arnaldo Mikolas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ruben Ederono made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Venancio Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Froilan Adrio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnaldo Mikolas, 0-3. 58 minutes into the match, C.A River Plate's goalkeeper Arnaldo Mikolas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Cayo. Ruben Ederono took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Iago. Leonel Iago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some careless play in the C.A River Plate defense, Aquilino Cayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Mikolas. The C.A River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Mikolas should have stopped the shot. Los Santos de Nuñez's Froilan Adrio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Adrio in the 68th minute of play forced C.A River Plate's goalkeeper Arnaldo Mikolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, C.A River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Theobald to maneuver through the defense. Froilan Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Los Santos de Nuñez's Antônio Carlos Recife got a free kick in the 79th minute. Los Santos de Nuñez's Leonel Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Ederono in the 80th minute of play. Arnaldo Mikolas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Froilan Adrio's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Adrio got free with Arnaldo Mikolas in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Adrio in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Mikolas saved C.A River Plate from getting behind. When Los Santos de Nuñez's Froilan Adrio in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. Ivan Guilabertus charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Guilabertus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.A River Plate's Ivan Guilabertus got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
