An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Mateo in the 2nd minute of play forced C.A River Plate's goalkeeper Arnaldo Mikolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A River Plate! The referee gave TikiRiki FC a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miguel Hanni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A River Plate's Arnaldo Mikolas. 0-1. Emanuel Mateo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Arnaldo Mikolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TikiRiki FC. 16 minutes into the match, C.A River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mateo came free, but Arnaldo Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Mikolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Quirce during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, C.A River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Quirce to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, C.A River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Mede came free, but Arnaldo Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adan Quirce hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Miguel Hanni came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the TikiRiki FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Hanni couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Emanuel Mateo in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A River Plate's Baldomero Theobald. Rosendo Mede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Ederono got free with Lázaro Lleir in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Ederono in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lázaro Lleir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ivan Guilabertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Lázaro Lleir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Miguel Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Viator hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. TikiRiki FC's Lázaro Lleir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Guilabertus in the 64th minute of play. If Rosendo Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 77 minutes, Gregorio Senen made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. C.A River Plate's Arnaldo Mikolas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Mikolas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Mede's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Ruben Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Lleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
