An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Rufo in the 21st minute of play forced Mitre Futbol Club's goalkeeper Rodolfo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Ruben Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Clemente Rufo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Gouin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Rufo couldn't finish the play. Maximo Venerando made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Thomas Zachrisson immediately put the ball in play. Clemente Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Rodolfo Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mitre Futbol Club had won after a very even match.
