C.A.SANTA ROSA's Freddy Beliran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save C.A.SANTA ROSA from getting a goal against them. Santo Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Lop, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When Váldson Borges came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the C.A.SANTA ROSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Borges couldn't finish the play. A collision led to C.A.SANTA ROSA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Rafael Selmo hit a great ball. With a little luck, C.A.SANTA ROSA's Freddy Beliran got control of the ball when Raul Nel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.SANTA ROSA! Raul Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Freddy Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Quiroga charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Quiroga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santo Gelmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Corderun's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Benedicto Orlanda charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Orlanda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, C.A.SANTA ROSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Gipson got free with Freddy Beliran in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Nel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Freddy Beliran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Freddy Beliran made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Raul Nel sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Corderun to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sergio Gipson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of C.A.SANTA ROSA's Freddy Beliran. Freddy Beliran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Jorgelín Negro getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sergio Gipson hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Jorgelín Negro's goalkeeper Santo Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Corderun. In the 69th minute, Leonardo Corderun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Gergori hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.A.SANTA ROSA's Andres Iban got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.SANTA ROSA's zone, Raul Nel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Beliran came out of the goal and Raul Nel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sergio Gipson fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jorgelín Negro's protests and gave Sergio Gipson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Sergio Gipson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Nel, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Raul Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Raul Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A.SANTA ROSA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
