After a defensive mix-up in FC La Tenes Adentro's zone, Fidel Leocadio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Pancho came out of the goal and Fidel Leocadio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quilmes Atlético Club's Gavino Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Neto in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fidel Leocadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Pancho was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Tebaldo got free with Gualterio Pancho in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the game, Jonatan Tebaldo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gualterio Pancho. Jonatan Tebaldo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Jacobo Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Fidel Leocadio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quilmes Atlético Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC La Tenes Adentro the free kick. In the 26th minute, Fidel Leocadio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC La Tenes Adentro's Prudencio Henry got a free kick in the 29th minute. Quilmes Atlético Club's Gavino Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Polentzi in the 32nd minute of play. Gualterio Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Cuartio in the 33rd minute of the match. Benito Sayveon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavino Cordarryl. Quilmes Atlético Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Quilmes Atlético Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Unai to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Ospetsu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavino Cordarryl. Quilmes Atlético Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Felix Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Fidel Leocadio made the kick off in the second half. Gualterio Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to FC La Tenes Adentro getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Prudencio Henry hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Leocadio in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quilmes Atlético Club's Fidel Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC La Tenes Adentro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Quilmes Atlético Club's Fidel Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quilmes Atlético Club's Fidel Ubarna was substituted for Cipriano Munio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Leocadio in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Pancho saved FC La Tenes Adentro from getting behind. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC La Tenes Adentro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrique Abalos was slow to take the kick. During this time Quilmes Atlético Club's players had a chance to rest. Enrique Abalos made a great header on Quilmes Atlético Club's corner, it was just that FC La Tenes Adentro's Gualterio Pancho managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84thth minute of the game Fidel Leocadio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC La Tenes Adentro's Gualterio Pancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Cordarryl was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Jacobo Neto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacobo Neto really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Quilmes Atlético Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
