Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgardo Bryant started the match with the kick off. With his leg Gualterio Pancho managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Club Atletico River Plate's Patricio Vistruario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patricio Vistruario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gualterio Pancho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jesus Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Club Atletico River Plate's Paolo Magdaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Patricio Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Jacobo Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Bryant might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualterio Pancho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Bryant ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Benito Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Vistruario struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gualterio Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico River Plate. If Edgardo Bryant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Jacobo Neto made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Vasconcelos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Patricio Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Vistruario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Pancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgardo Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gualterio Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, FC La Tenes Adentro's Jacobo Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Vasconcelos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Edgardo Bryant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Bryant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC La Tenes Adentro's Gualterio Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Bryant in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Edgardo Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Bryant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Pancho having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Patricio Vistruario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualterio Pancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Club Atletico River Plate's Baldomiro Honesto was substituted for Patricio Vistruario. Baldomiro Honesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th match minute, FC La Tenes Adentro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Nevada to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Sugar lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of FC La Tenes Adentro booed when Club Atletico River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Sugar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Ospetsu in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Bryant in the 95th minute of play forced FC La Tenes Adentro's goalkeeper Gualterio Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
