An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Ubarna in the 15th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Dalmacio Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Wilfredo Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Dantae in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Ubaldo Ubarna made a precise shot to the right of Dalmacio Koldo. Borussia Dortmund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marcos Urbasa was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Marcos Urbasa got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dalmacio Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Ubarna in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ulises Policarpio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mancio Puig to make any attempt to save it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Policarpio was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Salada Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Policarpio came free, but Mancio Puig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Aztore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salada Grande played a much better game than Borussia Dortmund and deserved their victory. The Borussia Dortmund players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
