Miguel Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Galsino having to interfere. If Jorge Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Soldevilla AFC booed when Sans Frontieres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviano Aberasturi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Mellberg in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Bernardino Quintin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manuel Galsino, passed just outside the right post. Soldevilla AFC's Manuel Galsino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Soldevilla AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Dalmai in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Bela saved Sans Frontieres from getting behind. Lars Mellberg took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Bela. Anibal Bela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Herminio Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sans Frontieres's Anibal Bela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Mellberg in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Jeremias Cortez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Galsino. Soldevilla AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 46th minute, Miguel Claus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herminio Dalmai was the one to do the kick off. Herminio Dalmai in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anibal Bela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manuel Galsino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Herminio Dalmai lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Anibal Bela. Herminio Dalmai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Anibal Bela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anibal Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Oliverio in the 73rd minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Soldevilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Lia. After 85 minutes, Jeremias Cortez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sans Frontieres and the Soldevilla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sans Frontieres getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jeremias Cortez hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Herminio Dalmai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anibal Bela. The goal made the score 1-4. Jacinto Oliverio's late challenge caught a Sans Frontieres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Oliverio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Soldevilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Oliverio to maneuver through the defense. Lars Mellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Soldevilla AFC's Herminio Dalmai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anibal Bela. That made the score 1-5 after 95 minutes of play. The Soldevilla AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soldevilla AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
