Danilo Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Ebardo having to interfere.

Enrique Gaztea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Geronimo Erramun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Club Atlético Elortondo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Atlético Elortondo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
