After some careless play in the VenturaJr defense, Adolfo Jaunzuria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Froylan. The VenturaJr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Froylan should have stopped the shot. A collision led to HellFishes FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rodrigo Bakar hit a great ball. Osvaldo Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paulino Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Tristan charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Tristan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albert Gorun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Froylan having to make a save. 26 minutes in the game Rodrigo Bakar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Narciso Lander. Arnaldo Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Narciso Lander might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Froylan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Lander ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Sanduru made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Osvaldo Osorio however managed to control. Paulino Tallia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Jaunzuria in the 44th minute of play forced VenturaJr's goalkeeper Rene Froylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Osvaldo Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Osorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Gorun kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Paulino Santxol came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the VenturaJr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Santxol couldn't finish the play. Jairo Sanduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Paulino Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in HellFishes FC's zone, Osvaldo Osorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Tallia came out of the goal and Osvaldo Osorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Patricio Pes came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the VenturaJr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Pes couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Jaunzuria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Rene Froylan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulino Tallia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Sanduru in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VenturaJr's Patricio Pes got a free kick in the 85th minute. Adolfo Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rene Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Osvaldo Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VenturaJr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Osorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulino Tallia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Tristan went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Despite being the better team, VenturaJr failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
