Joshua Kimmich charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Sandaili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rene Afonsos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Tomas Lore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chajari FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
