Gervasio Millano made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Pim Pero sent off a good shot on target. If Nicolas Eguntsenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sportivo Barracas booed when Neanderthal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sportivo Barracas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Sportivo Barracas:s Gervasio Millano showed great skill when he stopped Pim Pero:s penalty. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Nicolas Eguntsenti put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julian Egoi. Neanderthal's Julian Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Rico in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Sportivo Barracas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarne Meulemans to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Lugo made a kick off. A collision led to Neanderthal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. In the 66thth minute of the game Virgilio Lugo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Barracas's Gervasio Millano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Eguntsenti got free with Julian Egoi in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sportivo Barracas made a substitution. Diego Eladio replaced Domingo Peru. Isaac Lehen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match.
