After 3 minutes, Virgilio Lugo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neanderthal and the Sportivo DeContra players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Neanderthal getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Virgilio Lugo hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, Silvinho Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julian Egoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermengildo Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pim Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Neanderthal's Pim Pero got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Cunha in the 19th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Silvinho Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Neanderthal getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Virgilio Lugo hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Marcelino Dominguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neanderthal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo DeContra the free kick. In the 31st minute, Marcelino Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sportivo DeContra getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jimeno Sol hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Albino Dimo collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 36 minutes, Eleuterio Lano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neanderthal and the Sportivo DeContra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eleuterio Lano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Neanderthal's Julian Egoi got control of the ball when Silvinho Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermengildo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Lugo in the 39th minute of the match. Julian Egoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Benjamin Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Silvinho Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neanderthal's Lino Liher was substituted for Pim Pero. Sportivo DeContra's Hermengildo Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Liher in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Lino Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neanderthal's Armando Calisto was substituted for Prudencio Aureo. In the 86th minute Lino Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neanderthal's Julian Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Cunha in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Sportivo DeContra's goalkeeper Hermengildo Gonsalvo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Liher. Julian Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Cunha in the 94th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
