Armando Diegotxe came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Segundero's Celestino Gabrio. But to his dismay, Celestino Gabrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Iwan Starogardzki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guaberto Oalo went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute of the match Segundero got a corner. MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Gaizko ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Romulo Fernendo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Esteban Leobardo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Segundero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Leobardo couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Guaberto Oalo took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Iwan Starogardzki to make any attempt to save it. Iwan Starogardzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Oalo in the 27th minute of the match. Iwan Starogardzki was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Guaberto Oalo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guaberto Oalo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Filomeno Nardo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Guido Telo fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Guido Telo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's Guido Telo got a free kick in the 38th minute. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Javier Emesto sped through MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Diegotxe. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Emesto was the one to do the kick off. After 58 played minutes MARITO FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Javiar. Celestino Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Javiar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Armando Diegotxe stood somewhat misplaced when Javier Emesto came free in front of goal and shot 3-5 to the left of him in the 72 minute. In the 77th minute Javier Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Segundero getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Damian Gaizko hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Segundero's Nereo Gar got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Tonio in the 85th minute of play forced Segundero's goalkeeper Iwan Starogardzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundero's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
